There are a few things you can do to minimize damage and get things under control until we arrive: 

• If it is possible, stop the water leaking at its source
• If it is safe to do so, turn off the electricity and remove electrical devices around the areas with excess water
• Avoid walking on wet carpet
• Remove small furnishings or place something under furniture legs to prevent rust
• Remove other breakables or moisture sensitive items to prevent damage
• Move items from pathways
• Avoid the temptation to turn on fans, heating units, and air conditioning units as they may spread contamination

We will do all we can to get things taken care of as soon as possible. 

• Extraction equipment is brought into the home so we can physically remove any water. We extract all water from carpet, padding and upholstery
• If necessary, carpet and padding will be removed for proper drying
• Once water is extracted, professional grade drying and dehumidifying equipment is used to dry the affected areas of the home in order to return the humidity levels to the proper levels. 
• We will monitor the drying process daily and reposition the drying equipment as needed
• Once everything is dry, we will put everything back where it belongs. If necessary, we will even work with you and your insurance agent to process an insurance claim.
